Artistic Wire Wrapping Workshop

Hello readers! I have been quiet on the blog the past few weeks while we soaked up the energy of Vancouver during the Olympics. The city and country were alive with patriotism, and I met so many kind and interesting people from all over the world. Riding the bus, on the streets and in the shops, everyone was full of smiles and generous spirits as we cheered the world on!

Last week, life started to return to normal and March 2010 was officially kicked off with a session of my Artistic Wire Wrapping Workshop hosted by Vanterra Education in North Vancouver, B.C.

Students were provided all of the materials needed to design 2-3 pairs of sterling silver & recycled bead earrings. Recycled beads from my collection were available along with precut sterling silver wire kits. Students were also invited to bring their own old jewelry to recycle the beads, which a few people did!

The class learned to hand make earring wires and learned the basics of wire-wrapping to create their very own one-of-a-kind pairs of earrings. Stay tuned to the blog for announcements of future workshops, or email me directly at to arrange a custom workshop hosted at your home or office!

UPDATE: The workshop will be hosted again on Thursday, April 8, 2010 through Vanterra Education! Click here to register.
